Guitarist Ed Cherry is best known for his long association with jazz icon Dizzy Gillespie. He's also worked with Paquito Rivera, Jon Faddis, John Patton, Hamiet Bluiett, Henry Threadgill, and Paula West. Cherry has recorded a number of albums as a leader, his most recent “Soul Tree” and “It’s All Good” for Posi-tone Records.
